Both the trademarks of 英大” and “英大泰和”have great influence and have been used by StateGrid as series of trademarks for a long term. However, these trademarks were maliciously registered. Yingda International Trust CO., Ltd. and Yingda Taihe Life Insurance Co., Ltd. successively authorized our Company to raise objections to the registrations of No. 4694553 trademark “英大” and No. 5526720 trademark “英大泰和”. The Trademark Office decided that the registration application of these opposed trademarks of “英大” and “英大泰和” breached the law An application shall not be made with intent to register a trademark which is used by another person and enjoys certain reputation”. Finally, the Trademark Office made decision on March 15th, 2010 that the registration of No. 4694553 trademark “英大”was not approved, and made decision on May 11th, 2011 that the registration of No. 5526720 trademark “英大泰和”was not approved. Thus, the oppositions on these two trademarks were confirmed, and the registration applications of these two trademarks are carrying out smoothly. |
