Statement

Since November 1^st, 1988, China has adopted International Classification of Goods and Services (NICE Classification). On August 9^th, 1994, China became a member of NICE Union. It is the modified version of NICE Classification (Tenth Edition) in 2012, which was passed by Expert Committees of NICE Union in the 22^nd Meeting. Upon the requirements of WIPO, members of NICE Union will officially use NICE Classification List (Tenth Edition) in 2013 (hereinafter referred to as “NCL (10-2013)”). Such modification was executed on January 1^st, 2013, and relevant departments shall make preparation for initiating such new Classification List by reference to this version.
